S:CY May Card Sketch
Card Sketch by S:CY Card Sketch Artist Ann Seleshanko

"Happy Birthday" Card

Multi-layered, soft floral card created by May 2010 S:CY Guest Designer Andrea Wiebe
I am in love with the lace and pink ruffly flower! Bravo, Andrea!
And...Guess what? Andrea is teaching an online class all about making flowers!
Check out her class HERE.

"Happy Birthday" Card

Adorable, 3-D  "recipe" style card created by S: CY Designer Terri-Ann Morris.
Look at those darling little critters baking a treat!! **Grin**
This card is yummy!!

"Congratulations"  Graduation Card

A card destined to be a special keepsake, created by S:CY Designer Misty Miller.
Adding a circular element with the big button was the perfect touch, Misty!!
Love the little smiling "Grad!"

"Bloom" Card

Beautiful autumn-coloured, layered and stitched card created by our S:CY Senior Designer, Ann Seleshanko

(Note: Ann is a Certified Copic Instructor, and her card's sweet image was coloured with Copic Markers. If you'd like more information on Copics, please check out the NEW  Savvy 'n Sassy Copic Club: you'll find very special Copic prices, awesome deals, two certified instructors, Copic tips, teaching, learning, sharing and fun! I am sooo impressed with it!)

 All-occasion Greeting Card

Peaceful, feminine card created by S:CY Designer Jillian Anger: So calming, so versatile! What a great way to let a friend know you care.
Awesome, Jillian.

"Just a note" Card

Beautiful vintage-style notecard  created by S:CY Designer Jennifer Cassista.
Who wouldn't LOVE to receive this gorgeous card? I really  love the addition of the feather.
A real treat for the eyes!

"Mom" Card

Floral-themed greeting card for a Mom created by S:CY Designer Sherry Owens. Sherry tells us that she flipped the sketch 1/4 turn to the left for this gorgeous card, which cleverly uses a tag as the focal point, effectively anchoring the greeting. Super!

"Happy Mother's Day"  Card

Beautifully textured card created by S:CY Designer Sherry Owens. Sherry writes that this was the Mother's Day card she gave her Mom. Sherry said: "She loved it and even wants some scraps so she can decorate a matching birdhouse. "
This is so wonderful! Sherry, we'd love to see the birdhouse your Mom makes!
Sherry used October Afternoon papers here,  with Prima flowers. She writes that the layered flower on lower right was made  using  antique book pages, and was created by S:CY "Hall of Fame" Designer Pam Sandy. Sherry reports: "Her flowers are amazing!" (I have to agree!)

Hope you've enjoyed the beautiful  May card sketch and our Designers' creative interpretations. When you try this sketch, be sure to leave us a link in the Comments section so that we can go visit your Blog and see your project(s)! We'll leave some love, for sure!!!!

And, remember... we are always looking for talented Guest Designers among our S:CY  blog sketch participants!

HINT, HINT: I'm looking for  Guest Designers  for JUNE and JULY right now, as a matter of fact! So....be  extra sure to try the card sketch! (Yep, you can turn it into a LO or even an altered item if you like!) Tell your friends to go for it, too!!

Have a wonderful week!
