This week, we have a “Pattern and Texture Mixing” Inspiration Photo- When you create your layout, please use the photo above provide inspiration for mixing patterns & textures in your layout.

Use any patterns, colours, textures or combinations of those you see in the photo as inspiration for what YOU create on YOUR layout! 

Use Sketch 4-13  as your guide as you work thru the challenge.  

There are no “rules.” Just have fun!

Patchi writes: "I loved the idea of combining different textures! Those flowers had been sitting in my embellishment drawer for almost 3 years. I'm so glad I had an excuse to use them :)"

Karen writes- "Your picture inspired me to use greens and blues, so that is what I did and I did a layout of some online friends I got to meet last summer. We had a fabulous time and scrapped and saw some sights and talked (in person to our hearts content). Another fun sketch that I knew exactly what I wanted to do with."

Journaling- It’s funny… I never really used to “notice” the horses at the Zoo until we had one of our own for Kate. As soon as we got Oakley in 2007, and then Grace in 2009, I took more notice of these magnificent animals. Pete took photos of them more often, too. They were just more “special” to see and watch.  Even the miniatures at the Zoo commanded our attention! They are such perfect little creatures--Noah knows that, too! Just look at this special photo of him connecting with this baby pony!
